Mentoring Program SFTH has a mentoring program designed to increase retention and placement stability of newly licensed, placement ready and experienced licensed foster parents. Call SFTH at 744-2240 to be assigned a mentor. Scholarship Program We have a scholarship program for foster children of members of the North San Diego County Foster Parents Association. Each foster parent who is a member of NSDCFPA may request a one time grant up to $100.00 for educational or enrichment activities. Proof of receipts is mandatory. This is available while funds last. Call SFTH today to request an application. Birthday Present Come by SFTH to receive a birthday toy for your foster child. Dinner at the Ranch Our partners at Green Oaks Ranch and New Alternatives offer dinners twice a month out at the Ranch. *(summer only once a month)* Come and visit with other North County foster families and enjoy a great meal for free. There are activities for the children and it is a great time to get to know other foster parents.
